Comical Chaos!

Year 6 have been making comics and superheroes this week. Following on from the week before half term, we have been having a lot of fun using 60's pop art, benday dots to create our own vivid and colourful comics. We even had Christopher in our class dress up as his own superhero, Minibeast Man!
We also had some of our year 6 pupils, Rayne Leat, Charlie Agyeman, Riarnna Edwards, Foluso Falola and Rakeem Matthews representing Glade Primary School in the Athletics and we came 7th place out of 13 schools!

We've had a lot of fun over the week and look forward to next week's agenda!

Up,Up and Away!

As a part of our Literacy/ Art/History topic, we have had great fun with the topic of superheroes! We made up our own superhero and wrote a character description of them, after that we had the joy of making our own comics which were based on the 60's when they used to make marvel comics full of vivid ,colourful, lively comic strips. We also had the privelege to listen to some Caterham boys who came to give us a very useful talk about high school. We had a go at pop art and benday dots which were also used in the 60's.
And to add to the excitement, Class 6p had their very own superhero, Christopher Elliot, who was on a BBC documentary called 'Superheroes'. He took part in this with his own supehero, Minibeast Man.
But more importantly, it's the LAST DAY OF TERM!!!!!
Have a great holiday and keep safe!
Bye!
