Number Madness!

With the theme of our week, Making Changes Count, Year 6 really did have fun counting especially on Tuesday as it was Number Day. Ms Patel, the numeracy co-ordinator, Ms Patel, organised us a very special guest called Bubblz the Clown who came to visit our school and do some fun maths with us. For most of the week, Year 6 were busy praticing and brushing up our SAT'S skills. We sketched some pictures of Tutankhamun which is part of out Egyptian history topic.
We also made some detailed SAT'S Survival Guides which should help our next Year 6.
One of the other main things we did was persuasive writing which was used in our many class debates. Another thing we found out was our school play but I guess I won't spoil the surprise just yet...
Our SAT's test coutdown begins and we have under 2 weeks left so Year 6 better revise!
But have a good weekend and we will see you next week!

Easter is coming! Easter is coming!

This week in year 6, we have been focusing on the Easter story which is all about the resurrection of Jesus. In R.E, we were making Easter Storyboards and learning about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. We have also been preparing for our SAT'S exams which are coming up in May.
That's it really so watch this space and have a blessed Easter.

God Bless You.
