China Week at Glade: Behind The Scenes!

Ne Hao! Year 6 are having a crazy week full of various fun activities which I shall try to cram into one blog. Following on from Monday's exciting update, the next day we had a go at flower cutting which I have to say was a complete sucess. Here is our outcome:

Then, in the afternoon, we had a great chopstick challenge which Alyesha Moodley won! The next day, we were in for a big surprise when we got to make some special red envelopes containing chinese money. We then had the next round of the chopstick challenge which Cathryn Bowyer won.

After making some brilliant leaflets about China, we did some super chinese paintings and had the last round of the chopstick challenge which Raghavi and Drenica won. All four of them competed to find the chopstick challeneg champion which was...drumroll please...Ctahryn Bowyer! She and the three runner-ups got some very interesting prizes.

Overall., it was probably, in fact, definetly the best china week we've ever had!
