We then worked on coming up with our own 'I have a dream' speech, where we spoke of our own dreams about the current issues in our world. Here is one of the speeches we wrote.
We have a dream that one day, on this planet, there will be peace, that there will no wars between neighbouring countries like Gaza and Israel. We have a dream today.
We have a dream that fear will not be felt by citizens of our country and that child abuse will not take place. We have a dream today.
We have a dream that hungry children will not suffer from starvation and they will be fed and clothed. We have a dream they will live in happiness and freedom.
We have a dream that our future generation to come will be given great opportunities for jobs and rewards because of our input. We have a dream today.
We have a dream that innocent soldiers will not have to risk their life fighting for wars that should have never started. That we will live in peace one day. We have a dream today.
